Agent Meetings in Russia

Our agent meetings this time were held at the Mariott Grand Hotel in Moscow on May 23, and at the Astoria Hotel in St. Petersburg on May 26. About 150 pharmacists and distributors from all over Russia and other CIS countries took part in each conference. This conference is held annually by A&D CIS, our global partner in Russia.

 

St. Petersburg was constructed by Peter the Great (Peter I) and was founded on May 27, 1703. During our stay in St. Petersburg, the citizens were celebrating its 301st anniversary. Once the capital of Russia, this city is very historical and many old buildings remain unchanged. It has a cityscape that attracts all the people who visit there.

 

In the conference room, our blood pressure monitors were displayed in neat showcases and attracted a lot of interest from the participants. To complement the monitors and add a hint of the exotic, there was a beautiful Japanese doll decorating the display.

At the conference, we announce the launch of our new compact wrist monitors to the participants. Moreover, the introduction of an innovative diet method using our bathroom scale UC-321 excited a lot of interest. Most of the participants were ladies, so they listened very attentively to this presentation.

The diet method was originally introduced on a Japanese TV program called "Tameshite Gatten!" (Try it and Gotcha!), which was broadcasted by NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation). The diet method is also introduced on our website.

At the banquet held after each conference, the participants were awarded prizes for their sales activities in 2003. They enjoyed great food and games using our products. As a special bonus, the winners of the game got to keep the prizes. It acted as a great incentive!

It was a huge pleasure for us to know that our agents are proud of our products and are pleased to be associated with us. We strongly believe that we can expand our business in Russia with such wonderful partners.
