Earlier this year the British Heart Foundation (BHF) embarked on a nationwide campaign to highlight the dangers of heart disease in the UK and the factors associated with it. The campaign, which was mainly sponsored by the Government, included half page advertisements in all of the national daily newspapers. |

It centred on the message "the most valuable gift your heart could receive" and the image of an A&D UA-767 in a silk lined gift box proved an eye-catching sight. This was also seen widely throughout London on advertising boards on the public transport system such as the Underground "tube" network as well as on the sides of the famous red double decker buses. UK Medical Business Manager Mike Telford came across the advert right at Bond Street Station on the Central Line. This was just around the corner from one of the largest UK stockists, Porter Nash Medical, who have experienced increased sales as a result. The UA-767 was a considered choice by the BHF who had to assure themselves that any BP monitor displayed must represent the highest quality. This question was answered when they were presented with a copy of the Validation Report showing that the UA-767 achieved the highest grades (A/A) under the British Hypertension Society Protocol. The UA-767 remains A&D's top-selling BP Monitor in the UK with sales this year setting all time record highs. |
