Yummy Sandwiches - A Compact Rugged Scale behind the Counter
A bakery chain in Germany recently installed our HL-3000LWP scales in some 100 of its shops across the country.
The shops offer handmade sandwiches with freshly baked buns and are busy with customers at lunch time. The HL-3000LWP scale is used by staff to put the right amount of fillings in a sandwich according to the selected recipes. Fillings like ham and cheese are weighed accurately in the quest of quality control and cost management.
The HL-WP scale was chosen by the customer because of its design and construction which is easy to keep clean and free from contamination. The stainless housing coupled with a unique MicroTex filter system and a silicon rubber diaphragm achieves IP-65 waterproof protection and makes a perfect choice for food processing applications. Furthermore its compact and stylish design was a right fit onto a little round “table” behind the counter.

More Scales for Food Industries

The FS-i and SK-WP series with stainless steel enclosure are IP-65 water/dust protected whereas the SJ-HS range comes standard with a stainless steel pan.
