For producers and packers wishing to pack in accordance with the Average Weight legislation or “e” mark system, the AD-1032M Average Weight Terminal provides an easy to use and cost effective Statistical Quality Control solution. AD-1032M can be used with most A&D balances or scales and in addition to the basic requirements of the law offers a number of enhanced features intended to simplify the process of checking.
The AD-1032M conforms to the rules of average weight for packaged goods by checking that the average quantity of the packages is not less than the declared quantity. Not more than 2.5% of packages may be underweight by an amount greater than the Tolerable Negative Error (TNE) known as T1, whilst no packages must be underweight by an amount of two times the TNE known as T2. T1 and T2 values are clearly displayed for each product during setup and any packages falling outside either T1 or T2 are displayed and printed in real-time during the measurement process.
The AD-1032M terminal can store 500+ products into memory via alphanumeric keypad and multi-line backlit display. The unit can be programmed as a standalone unit or alternatively data can be input via PC using the standard PC software which can additionally be used to back up the terminal settings and data as well as providing PC printing of numeric and graphical results.
The large button simple to use menu driven system creates numeric as well as graphical prints of Mean, Standard Deviation and weight distribution bar charts on standard tally roll printer paper. Fill quantities for liquid and solid products are checked using AD-1032M by regular sampling during the production process allowing full compliance with “e” mark legislation in addition to compliance with ISO and GLP.
