The First Blood Pressure Monitor Designed for Women

The new clinically validated UA-782 fully automatic Lady Blood Pressure Monitor from A&D Medical was created by our top designers in Japan with consideration of the growing demand from female customers.

Women are normally the driving force on health matters in the family circle and there is an increasing degree of awareness of how so many everyday influences can impact on raising blood pressure. A good diet and healthy exercise regime are seen as basic requirements but it is important that blood pressure can be monitored on a regular basis. Many GPs now encourage home blood pressure monitoring to help promote a better understanding of health and well-being and women are taking a greater control of their own health.

The UA-782 brings a revolutionary design concept to combine a pleasing form with clear display of the valuable information. It offers a lot more than just a basic functional clinical white box with an LCD. The latest technology from A&D should not be underestimated but it is the benefits that set this monitor apart from the competition and we feel that these functions will be appreciated by ladies in the UK and Europe.

The shape of the monitor has been designed so that it will take pride of place on any table top and the unique cuff holder will help maintain a tidy appearance when not in use. This may not be very often as we anticipate that all the family will be interested to see their results as well.

Our research has shown that many ladies, and also men, find the discomfort of inflation off-putting even though this is essential to help obtain accurate data. The latest A&D technology provides smooth and fast measurement to improve comfort and thereby producing more accurate results. The easy fastening cuff has a reassuring soft feel and will help provide accurate readings from smaller arms through to regular adult size (17-32cms arm circumference). Very few BP monitors on the market can be used to obtain accurate BP results on the smaller arm sizes in this range.

The immediate result is also shown against World Health Organisation classification colour guide and with 90 memories and the average display the user can view their comprehensive measurement history at a glance – and review it with their clinician.
