A&D Medical at Spring Fair 2009
The Spring Fair at the NEC in Birmingham is the UK’s largest trade show and brings together suppliers and retailers from all over the globe for a huge range of gift and consumer products. A&D Medical has exhibited at this show for eight years and we had another prime location to display our range of products to a wide range of wholesalers and retailers over the five days from 1st to the 5th February.
The Spring Fair attendance level has a record of bringing traffic problems to the roads around Birmingham but 2009 brought some severe cold and snowy weather. We are pleased to report that not only did the A&D staff get through but the 50,000 plus visitors who made it to the NEC were even more committed to spending more time with exhibitors and make it another successful event.
The TM-2655P waiting room BP monitor again proved a great attraction on our stand to highlight the importance and ease of regular Blood Pressure monitoring. In association with the British Heart Foundation who have launched February is National Heart Month, we used the monitor to collect donations and these were passed on and gratefully received by the BHF at the end of the show.
We attracted a wide range of interested visitors including wholesalers, pharmacists, health store retailers and some of the major multiple retail chains. The visitors were reassured to see the range of A&D clinically validated monitors including the new UA-851 and UA-853 designs and agreed that a premium price is worth the additional expense when accuracy is so crucial to personal diagnosis. Both new and existing customers were quick to take advantage of the special deals for orders placed at the show and we have already rebooked our stand for 2010.
